Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the very definition of insanity! And buying the same things again and again isn’t far off. Your life is dynamic, shouldn’t your wardrobe mirror that?

Let’s be realistic; although most designers create wild, comment provoking run-way fashion to introduce their concepts, they create regular fashions for regular people to purchase. Most of us are not built like fashion models, not women and not men, and most designers know and appreciate this.

Most designers modify their models for real life consumption, and we at Gian Marco insist all of our merchandise is styled and tailored to fit our clients’ needs ! So why ask for “what I bought last time I went shopping”? Sure some companies still feature those dated, baggy oversized garments (you can probably get a polyester leisure suit too) but do they really look good or flatter on anyone? If your proportions are slim you look unkempt and sloppy; if you are a bigger man, why exaggerate it? Your question, and our mission must be, “DOES THIS ITEM FLATTER AND DOES IT ENHANCE ME?” Show off your finer points, create them, but don’t obscure them-ever! This is where our knowledge of cuts, models and designer offerings comes into play. We can assist with the patterns, colors and models that will give you the most flattering look.

Naturally, with every off the rack garment there may always be a need for tweaking, and that’s where our Head Tailor, Calvin, comes into play. Being a master tailor (the sartorial equivalent of a doctorate) for over 50 years including years where he controlled the design and quality for designers such as Joseph Abboud and Barry Bricken to convert their concepts to commercially viable products that actually fit people.
